I was already very excited about the forthcoming Dig for Fire: A Pixies Tribute album, not least because I have a small obsession with inventive cover versions. That excitement level rose today on the news that British Sea Power (above, middle) will be contributing a track, alongside Mogwai (above, right), and (the now somewhat senior) Dinorsaur Jr.
I assume the fact that it's not released until November means it's not even near recorded. Watch this space.
