First of all, I love vinyl, and I love my iPod. I can bat for either side on that debate, but I don't typically go for the whole "digitally remastered" resale/rehash/rerelease thing... extra badge, Morrissey? You know what I'm talking about.
That said, as I love the hiss of my Small Faces records on the turntable, I've been searching (albeit, not hard) for a "better" recording of their Hammond-heavy Own Up Time without having to buy some crazy-priced box set. Long story short, the re-mastered version currently on CD and iTunes is one step closer. Now, I just need Twenty Minutes to Vegas to record a cover... I'll see what I can do about that.
